About us
A small idea that grew into a whole community
Mums Unite started in August 2024 as a small WhatsApp group among mums in the same residence — a simple idea to connect with other mothers in Klang Valley. By November 2024, that group had grown from 0 to 70 members, and the community stepped out onto Instagram to share what was becoming something much bigger than a group chat.
What started as a way to make new mum-friends has turned into a fun, safe space for building friendships through events and play dates — café meetups, festival booths, Pilates sessions, mumpreneur meetups, giveaways, and milestone celebrations along the way. And while the name says “mums”, our events are open to dads, kids, and anyone who wants to be part of the fun.
Mums Unite is run by Stacey, who also owns Porch & Pantry Cafe in Bangsar — a family-and-kids-friendly café that hosts many of our events and showcases products from mum-run small businesses in the community.
